Hundreds of contestants auditioned to be shortlisted in the top to perform in the final. Contestant were provided MG branded certificates as a token of appreciation for participating in the event. Attendees were given MG branded goody bags filled with MG branded caps, pens and T-Shirts and 20 shortlisted contestants performed for a crowd of a thousand people and were chosen based on cheers from the crowd.
